Pharmaceutical Trade and Distribution Manager Europe, expanding pharma company with projected growth within Europe.

For one of our long established clients, we are searching for an experienced candidate who can help both in a hands on and strategic level, with managing the companies distributors across Europe and all of the complexities that lie in between (pricing, contracts, supply chain, customer relations). It is a brand new role and has come around due to a number of new pharma products that they are introducing to Europe. The role is quite unique as it sits between both supply chain and commercial and has elements of both functions.

I believe it could be a good fit for someone in pharma procurement or supply chain who has also strong commercial ability. The company themselves have great growth potential and it's certainly a good role for someone with good long term drive in their career. In addition it might be a great role for someone currently working at Swiss/German level who would like to step to EU level. Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with new and existing Pharma distributors to ensure compliance and deadlines are met
  • Work closely internally across supply chain, procurement, commercial and regulatory to ensure projects are adhered to
  • Help in negotiating contracts and areas such pricing
  • Maintaining good customer relations and updating administrative processes both internally and externally.

Key Requirements:

  • This candidates must have proven experience dealing with Pharmaceutical sales distributors or experience working for a pharmaceutical sales distributor. Areas of experience should include customers service, contract agreement/negotiations, supply chain maintenance and pricing agreements. Candidates without this experience we sadly cannot consider.
  • Able to work in or relocate to Zug (Restrictions dependent)
  • Fluency in English and German

Role Level:

We target this at senior associate/manager level and the role would be an individual contributor.
